Dr. I Made Darmajaya, MARS, is a highly experienced Pediatric Surgeon with a long-standing career in pediatric surgery. He has been a staff member in the Pediatric Surgery Division at RS Sanglah since 2004, showcasing his extensive expertise in the field. Dr. Darmajaya is fluent in both English and Indonesian, which allows him to engage with a wide patient base and collaborate internationally.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Darmajaya has held various leadership positions, including Head of the International Wing at RS Sanglah (2011-2017), and currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Surgery at FK UNUD/RS Sanglah since March 2021. His responsibilities extend to serving as the Head of the General Surgery Medical Staff (KSM) at RS Sanglah, a position he has held since April 2021.
Dr. Darmajaya is also deeply involved in medical education and examination, being a member of the National Examination Commission for Pediatric Surgery since 2015. Furthermore, he holds the position of Chair of IKABI Bali (Indonesian Association of Surgeons) since December 2021, playing a vital role in advancing pediatric surgery practices in the region.
