If you or someone near you is experiencing a medical emergency, call our Emergency Response Team immediately.
📞 Emergency Hotline: 150 919

Steps to Follow When Calling an Ambulance:

  1. Stay Calm – Speak clearly and provide accurate information.
  2. Be Ready to Answer Key Questions:
    1. Where is the patient located?
    2. What is the phone number you are calling from?
    3. Is the patient awake and breathing?
    4. What is the name, age, and gender of the patient?
    5. Does the patient have any known medical conditions?
    6. Is the patient already registered at BIH? (If so, provide their hospital number.)
  3. Do Not Hang Up until the dispatcher tells you it is okay to do so.

Language Support

We understand that emergencies can be stressful, especially in a foreign country. If you do not speak English or Bahasa Indonesia, we can provide interpreter services.
If possible, ask a local speaker to communicate your location to the dispatcher while we arrange further language assistance.

When Should You Call an Ambulance?

Instead of driving to the hospital, consider calling an ambulance if:

  • The situation is life-threatening (e.g., severe injury, stroke, heart attack).
  • The condition could worsen during transit.
  • Moving the patient could cause further injury.
  • Specialized emergency medical care is required immediately.
  • Traffic or distance may cause a dangerous delay.
