Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will include an explanation of how information of user WEBSITE (“USER” or “YOU”) is collected, used and maintained confidentially by PT Pertamedika Bali Hospital and/or its subsidiaries ("WE" or “OUR” or “US”) while respecting USER rights in using our website: PT Pertamedika Bali Hospital ("WEBSITE").

A. Scope of Privacy Policy

  1. WEBSITE and hospitals (including Doctors in them) that are members of Bali International Hospital Group ("Hospitals") are managed by US.
  2. This Privacy Policy governs the use and protection of information provided by the USER when using the WEBSITE Services.
  3. By using the WEBSITE, the USER is deemed to have read this Privacy Policy and consent to the mechanisms for which the USER's Personal Data is collected, stored and used as set out in this Privacy Policy.
  4. If We ask a USER to provide information when using the Website, it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  5. WE have the right to at any time change, remove and to implement the new terms of this Privacy Policy. Users are expected to check this page periodically for such changes. By using the WEBSITE Services after such changes occur, the USER is deemed to have known and agreed to the changes to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
B. Registration For The Book Appointment Services and/or Medical Check Up Service
  1. USER can perform the registration process to get a Book Appointment Service and/or Medical Check Up Service on the Website.
  2. In order To register the Book Appointment Service and/or Medical Check Up Service on the WEBSITE, the USER must provide the information WE need as stated in Article C below.

C. Personal Data
  1. WE collect the information provided by USER when USER creates accounts and profiles, send US emails/emails/emails or put other information or content in the WEBSITE.

  3. WE also have the right to collect information when the USER uses the WEBSITE, including but not limited to: GPS location /coordinates (if the USER enables this feature), Internet Protocol (IP) address (if using browser), operating system, browser type, WEBSITE address referring and USER activity in the WEBSITE. The USER may enable or disable the location recognition service when the USER uses the WEBSITE.
  4. WE have the right to verify directly to the USER for information about personal data that has been submitted by the USER through the WEBSITE.
  5. By using the WEBSITE, the USER guarantees that the information which USER provides is accurate and correct.
  6. If the information that the USER provides is incorrect, then WE are not responsible for any consequences that may occur in connection with the provision and use of such incorrect information.
D. Responsibility for The Use Book Appointment Service And Medical Check Up Service
That in the use of Book Appointment Service and/or Medical Check Up Service on the WEBSITE, the USER understands that WE are only the provider of the features of such Services, which aims to provide convenience and convenience to the USER in registration for the Services, then every implementation of the Service conducted by the USER with the Doctor, this is an action between the USER and the Doctor and is clearly beyond OUR control, so if in the future there are legal issues regarding the content and/or statements of actions between the USER and the Doctor, it is entirely the responsibility of the USER and/or Doctor, then USER release US from all claims, charges and legal consequences. E. Visitor Data The WEBSITE will collect information about usage, such as the number of visits and visitor activity. This data is collected for the purpose of improving USER convenience and OUR services. F. Use of Information
  1. WE use USER information to:
    1. Provide information to USERS at USER's request in connection with OUR services on each feature in the WEBSITE.
    2. Provide information to the USER the location and event or activity that is and/or will take place at the Hospital closest to the USER's location when activating the coordinate/GPS location.
    3. Use and disclose USER’s health information as per the operating requirements of the WEBSITE. WE may use and circulate this information for the purpose of reviewing and improving the quality of the health services WE provide, or the competence and qualifications of physicians and/or WEBSITE professional staff.
    4. Provide information/sends e-mails and/or SMS containing promotions periodically to USER if there is an offer and/or promotion of new products, special offers, or other information that WE think is needed by the USER.
    5. Inform USER of any changes to OUR WEBSITES, Services and products.
    6. Use USER information to contact and remind the USER of the doctor scheduling made through the WEBSITE.
    7. Use and disclose USER information where necessary for medical reviews, legal services, and audits, including fraud and abuse detection and customization programs, as well as business planning and management.
    8. OUR internal records or documentation are stored on OUR servers, both inside and outside the territory of Indonesia.
    9. WE will use the collected data for the processing of statistical data whose results will be used for medical and commercial review. The processing of this statistical data will mostly not disclose Personal Data, but it is possible that there will be disclosure of Personal Data in the search of the results of the processing of such statistics. By using the WEBSITE, the USER is deemed to have understood and approved the use of such data.
  2. WE guarantee that the data and information provided by the USER is confidential and will not be disseminated. To prevent unauthorised access, we take reasonable measures in physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect USER information.
  3. USER’s health information will only be used in connection with the WEBSITE service along with the Doctor's medical review and WE will only collect the information needed to run the WEBSITE service.
  4. WE retain USER personal information for as long as it relates to the purposes necessary for the purposes of OUR service to USER. The confidentiality of the USER's personal information is certainly considered confidential and will not be disseminated unless required by applicable laws and regulations.
  5. By using the WEBSITE, USER is deemed to have agreed to allow certain third parties to use USER data to provide the USER with information about the goods and services that the USER needs. Such third parties include but are not limited to:
    1. USER insurance that will require proof of service that has been provided and/or a medical report before payment is made to the WEBSITE: or if they require for service authorization or referral.
    2. Third party service providers who have provided services to the USER or USER Doctor (e.g. x-ray services or laboratory test services) to obtain the results of the examination or for the purposes of issuing the bill.
    3. OUR business partners, such as billing services or who work on administrative services for US. WE have cooperation agreements with individual business partners and service providers required to protect the confidentiality and security of the information passed on to them.
G. Access and Permissions on User Devices For Android and iOS devices, the Website will need permission to:
  1. Internet Access & Network
    The WEBSITE requires an internet connection, so the Website monitors the condition of the internet & network of USER to be able to provide notifications, in case of lost connection at any time that results in the WEBSITE not being able to run (optimally).
  2. Camera Access
    1. The WEBSITE requires the USER to include photos in some parts of the WEBSITE, USER can use the Camera as one of the media to be able to take pictures.
    2. Granting access to the Camera on the device serves for the USER to take pictures in selecting the USER profile photo, identity card and scan QR Code.
  3. Access Photo, Galleries and Files
    1. The WEBSITE requires the USER to include images and/or documents in some parts of the WEBSITE, the USER can view the gallery and/or browser file to search or take for the required photos, images or related files.
    2. The WEBSITE requires USER to be able to store data generated from the WEBSITE side or third-party applications that are integrated with the WEBSITE.
    3. Granting access to photos, galleries and files serves for USER to select profile photos and/or select supporting documents needed in Teleconsultation and/or registration of health services at the Hospital.
    4. Granting access to photos, galleries and files on the Device will also provide access to "READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" & "WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" on the USER device for the WEBSITE to process photos, images, documents (read & write or create files) taken from the USER device using the external storage directory on a temporary basis (the file will disappear itself).
  4. Location Access
    1. USER can view the permissions used by the WEBSITE and disable them at any time through the settings menu.
    2. The WEBSITE requires data regarding the USER's location either continuously in terms of Touchless check-in, or situationally when the USER opens the WEBSITE in the case of Our Hospital for the appearance of the Hospital around the USER and in the case of Teleconsultation to determine the location of the USER at that time.
If there is access that is not granted by the USER, then there is a possibility that the WEBSITE cannot operate or function optimally. H. User Connection to Another Website
  1. For the purposes of USER reference, in the WEBSITE there are links to other applications listed by US. However, when USER uses these links, WE are not responsible for protecting the privacy and any information that USER provides when visiting such applications. WE are also not responsible for the content on these applications, including the impact caused by accessing those applications. The USER shall carefully study and read the policies for handling personal information applicable in the application, so if in the future there are legal problems arising from accessing these applications, it is entirely the responsibility of the USER and the USER releases US from all claims, charges and legal consequences.
  2. For payment transaction purposes, USER will be connected to applications managed by OUR Payment Gateway. WE always make reasonable efforts to protect the information that USER provides for the purposes of such payment transactions.
I. Applicable Law This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and USER are required to be subject to all applicable regulations in Indonesia. J. Security Efforts
  1. WE always make reasonable efforts to keep the information that USER provides to US, safe and cannot be used by irresponsible parties. However, the USER knows and agrees that internet transmission or access does not necessarily create the WEBSITE a secure and private and therefore any messages or information that the USER sends or uses in the WEBSITE may be hijacked or retrieved by irresponsible third parties.
  2. WE will store USERS' personal data in OUR database servers, both at home and abroad, to provide reasonable protection based on OUR assessment of misuse or omission of USER Personal Data.
